I am on my first rotation & have been assigned 2 textbooks to read in 4 weeks. The amount of material is really not feasible. We have a departmental exam for this rotation (not a shelf), & were told "Everything on the exam is in the textbooks."
Is it the norm to have such hefty reading assignments? Do most students actually attempt it? I am wondering if I should just go with a review book instead... it seems like that would be a more efficient way to learn the key points.
Any advice is much appreciated!
