Quick question for anybody who knows better:

I just got a referral (haven't seen/spoken to the patient yet, don't have much details): anoxic brain injury requesting help with obtaining an "assistance dog."

I've never come across this question, not even sure what the guidelines are and what eligibility is required.

Anybody?

No idea.

I think this is a classic case of a patient asking their PCP for a service dog, and the PCP saying "I don't know WTF to do!, send em to PM&R. They do all that disability ****"
