I thought maybe we could have a thread where people could post the assistantships they were offered so everyone knows what to expect? Also, if you have questions about what the typical assistantships are at a given university, previous applicants may have answers!
For instance, I have an upcoming interview at the University of Houston...but they do not publish data regarding their assistantships. Does anyone happen to have information of what their typical stipends are?
Here is the information I can offer:
At my interview at University of Kentucky, I learned that their typical assistantships are $14,000/year, and that some people qualify (based on GRE scores) for an extra $3,000. I'm unsure if the additional fellowship is for one year or if it is renewed.
