I will attending ASTRO this year and in order to keep costs down I'd like to share a room with someone. I am planning on staying at Hyatt Regency ($229/night) or Marriott Copley place ($269/night). If interested please respond or send a pm. Thanks

Already have a room, but more importantly it would be great to meet up with other SDN Rad Onc folks. Anyone up for a drink or something?

That definitely sounds good.

Oh and GFunk, I'll be needing some royalties for that radiograph 😀

Perhaps we can organized an SDN meeting. I understand some may wish to remain anonymous, but for those who don't mind, it might be nice. what do you think?

Hey guys.

I was wondering if any other medical students will be in Boston from the 20th to 24th of Sept. 2008 for the 50th ASTRO convention? I have friends in Boston but I would also like to meet other students interested in Rad Onc who will be there in Boston. Maybe hang out, watch a game at Fenway, etc...

If anyone would like to meet up please e-mail me at:

[email protected]

Thanks.

just saw the other astro thread. 🙁

Getting together sounds good to me. I'll be flying in on Saturday but that evening I believe I am free.

If anyone has a poster/presentation/etc please let me know. I'd like to show my support for fellow SDN'ers.

Since I am hardly anonymous, just say hi when you see my name.

Looking forward to meeting many of you.

Anyone interested in splitting the cost of a room? If so, please PM asap.

Thanks
- Mullet

if you would like to sort out a time and place for an sdn meeting, let me know.

Would medical students be welcome to this meeting?

I am allowed to attend ARRO presentations if I registered as a student through ASTRO? I'm a second/third year medical student but they've got quite a few talks that sound interesting.

Meeting up sounds great. Does anyone want to set a common meeting place at ARRO (i.e at a particular booth, etc) since we don't have each others contact information?
