Medical Center Anesthesiology of Athens (MCAA) is offering a full partnership-track position based primarily out of Piedmont Athens Regional in Athens, GA, starting Summer 2026, due to growing OR coverage needs. Track length and compensation are negotiable depending on experience. We are also open to discussing employed non-call positions should that be more desirable for a candidate.

Our group currently consists of 13 FTE physicians (10 current partners, 1 incoming partner-track new-grad, 1 FT outpatient physician, and 2 PT non-call physicians) supported by ~35 anesthetists (CRNAs and AAs). Call, weekends, and holidays are equitably shared amongst all call-takers, with post-call days off (new hires are eased into the call schedule after a couple months of only day shifts). We pride ourselves on strong collegiality and support within the group.

We cover a wide variety of cases, including:

• OB
• Level-2 trauma
• Cardiac/thoracic (fellowship/additional TEE training a plus, but not required)
• EP/interventional cardiology
• Vascular, neuro, ortho, uro/gyn, robotic
• Endoscopy, IR, CT
• Outpatient surgery center (including minor healthy peds cases)

Partnership track compensation & benefits:

• >75th percentile MGMA SE region
• ~13% employer 401k contributions after year-one (~$46k/yr value)
• Vacation: 9–12 weeks/year as a partner. Increasing with new hire
• Malpractice, medical, disability, HSA/FSA, continuing education, etc
