Rising M1 considering applying for a role as an Atlantis Mentor - helping run those “shadow in Europe” programs. If anyone did this, I’d appreciate feedback!

I would never do a trip like this as a pre-med, but getting paid to go abroad seems like a sweet deal.

It is a sweet deal if you don’t mind being an employee for a company for your last summer.

I spent my summer vacationing instead. But if this is the only way you’re going to be able to travel, totally do it.

Kind of my thoughts in your last sentence - never been to Europe!

I wanted to be a camp counselor for a week at the end of June for my third year there, but it’s just a volunteer thing (with people I’d like to see again). The company made it sound like they could try to work around it, we’ll See. Idk how to bring it up on the app quite - will tell them I would really like to return to the states for that week but if it is the only reason I won’t get the job, I’ll have to reconsider the week long camp.
