Order the elements S, Cl, and F in terms of increasing atomic radii.
is it F, Cl, S ?

but the answer is S, F, Cl. why?

Atomic radii decreases from left to right, and down to up, and that's why as we go from left to right there will increase in electronegativity, electronaffinity....> S>F>Cl>Br>I

ya im pretty sure its a mistake... it has to be F < Cl < S

since F is the smallest atom

Yeah, I believe F is the smallest of the 3 also.

Oops..sorry...Correct! F is the smallest. Although I wrote that the atomic radii decreases from down to up, still had the elements back ward! 😴
