Atropine-Force of contraction

Atropine is a positive chronotropic agent, increases heart rate.
BRS Costanzo says 'Increased heart rate increases the force of contraction in a stepwise fashion as intracellular ca2+ increases cumulatively over several beats'.
So should we expect increase in force of contraction with atropine?
But that doesn't get mentioned no where? Any help please?
