Hi, even though my primary application is in the verification process, can I submit the 2' application for ATSU online? I know even though they said wait until the 1' application is received, but there is a link for it to submit it online; just need to create an user account and the two campuses secondary application are the same.

Could someone give me an opinion if it is ok to do it? Also, which campus is better and why?

If they want you to wait I would wait. In the meantime, think of the qualities you can bring to the school and your exposure to osteopathic medicine. I believe you are asked to address these things on the secondary.

I can't really say anything about the Arizona campus as I didn't apply or visit there, but I really enjoyed my visit to the Kirksville. They have a new facility being built that should be open soon that will have a new library, OMM lab, and patient simulators. It was quite impressive. Overall it was just a great experience being there.

As far as which campus is 'better', that's more of a personal decision. Consider the area you'll be in, what you thought of it when you interviewed there, etc. I'm sure you can't go wrong with either campus.

The seondary applications are done online.

Kirksville is a pretty traditional medical school, and one of the big names in DO schools. You can't go wrong with this one.

Mesa is new, and has a pretty unusual and innovative curriculum. They really gear you towards primary care, and if that's what you want to do, the way this is set up might end up making them the best medical school in the country for PC. Tons of patient contact, early and often, as I understand it. I'd have to see their operation to make a decision about whether or not I'd want to go there though. I'm not sure I'm brave enough.
