Just curious as to what others thought about these two programs. I have to make a decision between the two and I didn't think it would be this difficult. There are wonderful things about both of these schools.... Both have roughly average board pass rates, etc, etc.

Any pros/cons would be helpful.

I turned down ATSU (Mesa) because I didn't like that you spend 2nd year in a community health clinic somewhere in the country. Their board passage rates were below average and I didn't want to be the guinea pig at a school that hasn't even graduated a class yet.

Do you like blistering hot or blistering cold temps??

I'm assuming WV gets cold???

WV is the snow buffer state for the Mid-Atlantic and topologically mostly mountainous woodlands. Basically it's very cold and windy at WV. But I really second the question asked above. However that being said they have wonderfully pleasant summers.

Well the weather isn't truly a factor....wish it was. Then I'd just head to Mesa.😀

I have the same problem. I'm debating between SOMA and WVSOM. I live in NJ so tuition is still astronomical for both and might as well not be a factor. Any suggestions?!

Make sure you can handle SOMA's way of life. It's great for some, wasn't for me.
