My ATT is expiring soon and I don't think I'll be able to sit for the NAPLEX by then. What happens if I want to take my exam outside of my ATT period? Will this count as a failed attempt? Whom must I contact to inquire about this matter? Have any of you all experienced this type of situation, if so, please share your experience and knowledge thank you 🙂 My SBOP didn't seem to have a clue :/

You canNOT take your NAPLEX once your ATT expired. Which state is this? You'd need to contact your SBOP (they're the one that initially authorized your ATT, so they should know what's going on.).

I'm assuming from your user name that you're from Ohio. Unfortunately, you're going to have to extend the ATT and pay for another RPh application.

Thank you for your response. I'm actually getting licensed in Pennsylvania but I just moved to Ohio. If they don't grant an extension, will it count as a failed attempt if I cancel my exam and receive a partial refund? Will I be able to reschedule after I cancel or will I have to wait until my ATT expires in order to schedule for a new exam date outside of my original ATT period altogether??

According to NABP, if you cancel before your ATT expires, then you'll get a partial refund. Once cancelled, you have to wait 5 days before you can register again for the NAPLEX. I'm assuming that if you cancel, it does not count as a fail, but just to be certain, I'd suggest calling NABP and/or your BOP for clarification. If I were in your position, 1) I'd call your BOP first to confirm the process on extending an ATT (writing a letter of explanation, paying another application fee ect.....) OR 2) if you're really running out of time on that ATT expiration date, maybe taking the cancellation/partial refund route and reapplying all over again. Hope everything works out!
