Even though I'm not an international dental student, since the majority of topics regarding NDBE pertain to both international and current dental students, I've spent a fair amount of time in here. I was going to comment in the thread after those from FOBdentist where he was slammed for speaking his mind, but figured I'd start a new thread.
In a few weeks several students that took the written exam will be getting their scores back. Whether they want to admit their scores or not, most will be happy just to have passed. A score over 80 is a good score, a score over 90 is a great score. I don't want to be labeled as an A-hole, but some of these threads seem to have turned into a support group for dental students. I feel like I should grab a tissue sometimes. I got an 85 and I was happy as hell, I'm reading and getting the notion that I need to retake it because of all the support others are getting for such an okay score.
I'm happy to see that this is a place where people can come with their problems, I've had many solved here myself. But it seems to me like we could tone down the sympathy, I feel like someone died around here.
