Ok, I'm not trolling here. Seriously, what do you do if you're sitting next to your prof/an attending and they let a smelly one rip? That can be extremely awkward, but what is the correct reaction?

This is a really funny post, because that exact thing happened to me. When I did my EM rotation one of the docs I worked with would always leave smelly farts...it was gross. The nurses and I would just roll our eyes, gag, and/or laugh behind his back, but we never let on that it bothered us when he was around. And he did it all the time too...at least 10 times or so per shift. 😱 The ER nurses station was not a pleasant place when he was working...

I let a good one go in the elevator filled with the trauma team.. I got off at the 3rd floor they had to go to 10th floor.. It was a good one.. Im glad it was them..

Whats worse is when you fart in the elevator while you're alone, and someone comes in right after... you can't really blame anyone...

What????????? Actually I would blame the person who was in the elevator before me. I think what you mean is when someone else farts in the elevator and leaves a stinking elevator for you and then someone else walks in and thinks you stunk the place up. You can try your hardest to convince the person it wasnt you, but it never works.
