I'm going to Baylor....so where should I live? I hear lots of people choose condoland. Can one buy a place there (not rent)? I don't care about living somewhere with nice scenery...I just want whatever's cheap, close by, relatively safe, quiet, and convenient. And preferably, where lots of my classmates will be living. Lemme know.

Condoland.

Yes, you can buy a condo there. Yes, there are plenty of students who live there. Safety? Well, that depends on your definition of safety. I lived in Parque View for a year. Its cheap, and I don't think that apartments are for sale.

There are other places to live around the medical center, but few are as inexpensive as some of the places in condoland. It has no character, but, hey, you're in medical school, what do you care about where you live!
