I will be presenting posters at two national meetings this spring, both internal medicine-related. What's the dress code for this? I'm a female. Basically trying to figure out if I need to get my suit and heels back out, or if nice blouse + nice pants/skirt + flats is enough.

If you don't want to make your home institution look like utter crap then I would go with the suit and heels. Seriously, though, most women can pull off the professional look pretty well without a full on suit... If only us men were so lucky. That being said, better safe than sorry. You never know who you might meet at a big conference...

go with something conservative like a dark pant suit. be aware that these gatherings may present golden opportunities for networking, etc.

All right - time to go get the suit dry cleaned. Thank you!
