There is a huge need for your feedback on your program. This year there were so many spots that went unfilled after the AOA MATCH. In a few months, people will be applying for these same programs and need a portal to research the "gutts" of each program. Scutwork.com is a great tool for people who are looking to apply to programs. Under the residency listing section, many medical students/interns/residents have posted their personal experience(s) at various programs around the country. The majority of these postings are for the allopathic programs however. There is a section for Osteopathic residencies and internships and although many programs are listed, there are VERY FEW reviews written.
Your time and energy will be well spent and will help the future of these ailing AOA programs. We need to maintain interest and participation in these programs or eventually they may cease to exist. There are some very high quality AOA training programs and we need to get the word out on them. On the flip side, there are some extremely POOR and malignant ones as well, that I think, we all have the right to hear about.
