I just had a question for anyone who may be going to Auburn or is now attending Auburn. I have to figure out how to take an immunology class before August so that if I do get in I can actually go. Stupid pre-reqs, I already have my BS in Biology shouldn't that be enough!?! Has anyone ever gotten into this school without actually meeting all the requirements?

We have AU pharmacy students that rotate through here (the hospital where I work) and from what I've been told, they don't make any exceptions to their pre-reqs. I also have a BS in Biology but am planning to go this summer to take Immunology if I get accepted to AU. You're right though, their pre-req list is outrageous, especially if you don't already have a BS to get some of them waived (Lits, Histories, etc).

I will be attending Auburn HSOP in the fall. Yeah preqs kind of sucks when you have you degree already. Mine is in bio as well and my school actually offered the course, but of course I did not take it. Anyway, Auburn allows you to take it during the summer from any approved school inc Auburn. But while at my interview Dr. Jungnickel (not sure if that's spelled right), told us about an online course offered by UC at Berkeley that they accept/recommend and many people take. That's what I will be doing. Hope this helped and Good Luck!

Have you been able to find any information on the UC Berkely Immunology course. I tried researching it online but it looks to me like there is only 1 exam, the final, and it is proctored. Would you have to travel to the school to take it?
I've decided to go ahead and take Immunology at Auburn over the summer but was just curious about the UC Berkely course.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! You are a lifesaver. I was freaking out because I couldn't take both A&P I and II and the immunology class at Auburn due to schedule conflicts. But I can take the online class and A&P I and II over the summer! You are awesome! Thanks!

There is a final exam that's proctored but u can take it in your hometown bc all you need is someone like a professor to watch u take it. U can sign up at your local community college or university and just pay a small fee. You have to do about 10 assignments or so and write a paper. The course instructor grades very hard so ensure u answer the questions in depth and very well. I would recommend it online if you can't take it somewhere close to u. Also, the earlier u start the course the better bc it takes about 10 weeks or so minimum even though it's online.
