I’m interested to hear everyone’s thoughts on how or if this will affect our ability to get MRIs approved for Medicare patients with various conditions. Our hospital is going live with this this year and my understanding is someone will have to jump through hoops for each time the imaging is ordered.

We went live with this last year. Except for a few extra clicks not much different in getting things authorized. But the clicks add up and makes using an emr and ordering imaging that much more annoying.
