I spend a lot of time in my car and was wondering if you guys know of any biology, chem etc. audio cds available. I'd like to maximize my studying any way I can. Thanks in advance.

I think there is something in audio for the MCAT -- i am sure someone else knows what its called...I wanted to say its called audio osmosis or something but I could be totally making that up I dont know... I read reviews on amazon.com when I thought about buying it and the reviews weren't all that great but it might be great so it at least makes a bit more useful of your time in the car if you are in it alot...

I found one thing that I thought was cool to help study the flow of blood in the heart... I found the song that is on the St.Josephs aspirin commercial and was on Happy Days a LONG time ago...anyway I downloaded it if you want to hear it...I found it very helpful and quite entertaining --- in a dorky/nerdish sort of way!! haha!! Let me know if you want it and I will email you the mp3 file 🙂

It's called Audio Osmosis and it's by Examkrackers. If you spend lots of time in the car I would say that they'd be worthwhile. The bio will not cover plants, animal behavior, or ecology, but will cover genetics, microbio, and human physiology (pretty well IMO). The ochem review would be good too. The chem is probably not useful (too specific and difficult). It's expensive though, and limited for the DAT. I sold my copy on Ebay for $100 and that seems to be the average price there.

There's also another audio CD program for the DAT but I don't remember what it's called.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I'll check ebay the cds.

Redhead, I'd definitely like to hear this song now that you've got my curiousity peaked.
