audio osmosis good pick for DAT??

I think that the bio and ochem are useful. The gen chem is a bit too advanced I think. The bio covers microbio, genetics, a little evolution, and is an excellent review for human physiology. There's no animal behavior, plant stuff, or ecology though. I'm not sure it's worth the $200 for the DAT, but you can get it used on Ebay for around $100.
while it does have some useful analogies that do help you remember some things, it covers everything very quickly and it seems to skim the surface. 4 of the CDs are physics which is useless, and even though i can appreciate a nerdy joke every once in a while, it can be literally painful to listen to.
if you've got the money to burn and are interested in getting whatever you can to maybe get you one or two more answers, then go ahead and get it. Overall I think you'd be better off doing problems and looking up difficult topics in your textbooks.
some of the stuff is very MCAT specific also. I don't want to sound totally negative, there have been some diamonds in the rough that have definitely stuck with me and I expect will come in handy on test day.

I've been using it, and it's seemed fairly helpful as a compliment to a DAT-specific method of study. If nothing else, I use my commute to/from work everyday to drive home a lot of the little details I might not have given enough attention when reading, or reaffirm the big topics and become quicker recalling bio facts or orgo rxns, etc. I believe it stays on target with DAT material pretty well.
