Just a quick advice request, but are there any good med-student-level audiobooks for anesthesiology out there?

In the past, I've enjoyed listening to Goljan's Step 1 audio lectures and the question/answer audio files from 'Surgery Recall'. I'll be going on M4 away rotations for anesthesiology soon, and was wondering if there were similar audiobooks for anesthesiology.

I do understand that there are 'Audio Digest' and 'Jensen's Board Review Audio Blue' materials available, but was curious if it would be appropriate to invest in these as a med student (or wait until internship / residency to purchase the files).

I'd be grateful for any advice whatsoever. Thanks!

Yes,

I would definitely start reading morgan and baby miller. Supplement it with audio cd's is a bonus and really efficient learning too.

You cannot start too early getting used to the new vocab.

I have Jensen's Big blue and Ranger Red cd's for sale if you are interested. Let me know.

what new vocab is there specifically for anesthesia?

and aren't Anesthesia board review cd's a bit too much for a 4th year medical student?

For someone going into something besides Anesthesia -yes audio board review is a bit much. Personally I listened to Audio Blue countless times between 4th year MS and now and I've found it tremendously useful. It's impossible to pick everything up the first listening or the second, third, fourth or fifth. Everytime I listen I remember something new and remember how it applied in one of my cases. I think it's a great supplement-particularly if you can afford $600 😱 for it. :scared:
