MS3 here. Waiting to hear back from a specific hospital for an EM audition rotation because it is a top choice for me. Although, I don't want to miss out on opportunites for a different rotation incase I don't get it. Should I continue waiting or start applying to others just in case?

Pgy 13 EM attending here ... apply to multiple, because they may not have openings later. Go ahead and get at least one or two set up for your SLOE in EM, unless you're applying for another specialty and just want to be at that hospital for exposure. You run the risk of putting all of your eggs in one basket otherwise. My $0.02.
