Im taking my DAT for the first time and ive been studying hardcore for the last month or so and lightly before that.
Idk if anyone else has had this problem but i cant seem to be doing well on the chem.
I read thru the kaplan BB book several times, watched chads videos, took lots of notes and still im getting like 18s each time. i usually practice with kaplan online course.
What am i supposed to doooo.
any advice?

you need to look at what it is your getting wrong and focus on that topic.

its useless to keep doing tests if you dont learn what you got wrong the first time

if you are getting only 1 specific thing wrong every time then you can narrow it down.

if you are getting alot of different things wrong every time you may need to re evaluate your studying

get topscore and try that also

i agree, try topscore.

after you go over your kaplan tests, try to take them again and see if you are understanding the questions better. the key is to learn from your mistakes. also, review questions you got right, not just the ones you got wrong.

this is a website i used that someone on sdn suggested. it has a bunch of practice tests at the end of each chapter that were helpful for getting the basics down.

I am afraid too Mine is on 26th August...what should I eat before going to the Test Center? What Should I do day before that or in early morning before taking test?

Mine starts at 12pm

Make sure you eat high protein food. B/c it stays longer, you will not run out of energy before you finish the test. Don't eat carbs or high sugars/ sweets.

The night before, what I did was, gust going over my notes and going over again the important things. Don't try to learn new things at this time. B/c it is too late to learn new things one day before your test.

Get good sleep. Go to bed early. Try to get at least 8-10 hrs sleep. If you know how to meditate that might help you to focus and release stresses out.

Good luck
