I'm debating if i should take the PCAT again in august or october. If I take it in august, I only have 3 and a half weeks to study and Id have to pay the late fee. If i take it in october I risk not being able to take it again, and having to submit my application later, and having to study during school. any advice

August, go for it, i did 3 and half weeks and got my score from 70 to 85, see my thread. however your gona have no life. i would go to lib from 9-7 every day for those 3 weeks. only too half of friday off

Edit; this is how i did it

first week:
Reading + Verbal only

Second week

Math + Reading + Verbal

Third Week
Biology, weekend review math+reading+verbal


that half week left

Chemistry for 2 days then review all and in between ofcouse too full length practice exams from cliffs and kaplan

It all depends on how comfortable you feel with the material. Maybe get a PCAT book and look at some of the topics to see if you remember them. I'm probably going to take both just to increase my chances of a good score!

How do you indicate that on pharmcas. I mean...if you submit your application in august, Like i will, and you plan to take both the august and the october pcat. what if you do well on the august and and dont want to take the october one, can you erase that after you e-

I don't think it really matters much. I also entered both August and October exam in Pharmcas as "planned PCAT". I haven't tried to erase it yet.
