Absolutely do not talk about being a party animal in college. Bad idea. Im sure you have had some inspiring experiences, and things that are unique and special about who you are.Get creative if you have to, but I highly doubt anyone is going to give you their autobiography to pull from.

Alright, So you think I should completely steer clear from the topic? I thought I should perhaps mention that semester of my life in which my priorities were in the wrong place. Thanks for the advise, I think I will just stick to other experiences in my life.

Just like you don't mention past jail time, current restraining orders or the fungus growing in your nether regions on a first date, there are subjects best avoided in an essay for admittance to a professional school. Being a party animal is one of them.

If your GPA shows your were a "party animal" then that could be a way to explain it. You probably don't want to use the words party animal and don't get specific with instances.... Keep it light and say one or two sentences about how you made poor decisions do to lack of maturity and discipline, then use 2 paragraphs on how you have completely overcame it and how you are a better person. I can't speak for your situation but as for me I had similar circumstances and I explained my self in a professional manner andI have already received and interview invitation

Thanks everyone. I was by no means a "Party animal" but there was one semester in my undergraduate career that I partied on the weekends and some of my grades that semster suffered for it. I was taking Organic and another difficult class. Party animal I say is a term for someone who frequently partied throughout college. But, I willl remain vague about the topic and emphasize how I have learned from my experiences.

What's your GPA? I would only mention it if your GPA is bad enough that it can't be avoided.
