What is the difference between these two? I'm having trouble differentiating these two stages.

Thanks!

Autonomy versus Doubt - Can the child do things on their own or are they doubtful and seek guidance/reassurance
eg. the child develops will in this stage. Autonomy in clothing themselves, toilet training, start to say "no" for a lot of things

Initiative versus Guilt - Is the child confident enough to initiate their own actions, make decisions on their own (like selection of toys) or do they feel guilty after having done something or hesitate to take action or make decisions on their own
eg. child develops an ability to explore their environment, make art, experiment with tools and toys.
