Anyone familiar with how much financial aid schools usually give to students? Or preferably if anyone has testimonials with their school and the package they received that'd be great!

Using "financial aid" is a very broad term. If you are speaking of grants/scholarships, medical schools do give those things but I don't think it's all that common. If you are referring to financial aid that the government awards you based on what the school says you need, pending your credit isn't a negative number, I think most schools COA offer students enough money to live comfortably (aka - you have food, shelter, a few extra bucks). I only say this based on what I was offered for my upcoming M1; I was offered enough that while I won't drive a Benz, I certainly won't struggle.

Grants and scholarships! I know they may be negligible but just wondering if there are any sizeable amounts.

Some schools are known for giving sizable amounts more than others. Reading on SDN, you'll find a few posts regarding full COA offers and the like. However, I don't believe this is the status quo. At my school, many students get offered something, but as you alluded to above, it's usually negligible or close to it.

It isn't like undergrad...there are small scholarships out there but many make you go into a specific specialty to qualify. There are a few merit based ones, but some of the requirements are insane. Like there's a half ride my school does but you have to stay in the top 10% of the class. My class, however, the entire top 25% had 4.0s so there is no room for error. Use the almighty google
