What are the typical/average number of call days per month that I can expect in an anesthesia residency? thanks.

3/month until everybody gets into rotation
1-2/month after that (Jan-June)

It varies by program....typically no more than 6; with the post-call day off. Maybe 1-2 weekend days a month.

holy crap are you serious? I thought most places was between 5-7 nights of call per month. dang dude if you dont mind pm'ing me the name of this program because daddy likes!!!!

Columbia's call schedule for July just came out, I have 3 long calls (24hrs), and 2 short calls (7am-9pm). Needless to say, I'm pretty happy about it!
