Hey everyone!

I am hoping for some information to help me determine which schools I want to still hold on to and attend the second look for. I have been fortunate enough to be accepted to quite a few places this year, but just am not sure if I have all of the information I want for each school just from the interview day.

In other words, I would really like to know from people with past experiences if their impressions of a place drastically changed after the second look weekend? If they did, is the second look or interview day representative of their general experiences in medical school right now? How much do second-looks tell you about particular medical schools?

I distinctly remember, on one of my interview days, the class president telling us that the main reason he chose his school was because of the second look day.

The second looks I attended didn't really change my decision much. They mostly said the same things and a lot of the activities planned were not that useful (many talks about curriculum, research opportunities, how awesome everyone is, etc.). It was nice to meet future classmates though and get another chance to explore the city. I would only go to the schools that you're seriously considering (it's unlikely in my opinion that a school would jump significantly in your rankings). Congrats and enjoy these next several months!!
