Are those numbers from the Osteopathic Medical College Information Book accurate?
Some are as high as $20,000! And some are as low as $1000 (LMU-DCOM). Are those numbers reliable because cost is an important factor to me. I would love to go to a school that gives out scholarships that cover half of the tuition.

i believe it's accurate, but i also believe it's misleading. average of the scholarship granted. just because they are able to grant half tuition scholarships doesn't mean you will be 3 of the 200 that will be selected for it. perhaps those with low average grant levels award them to a greater number of students. medical school scholarships are much much less common than undergraduate scholarships.

I agree with @tennerd . If cost is crucial for you, look at schools that have a low cost of attendance in the first place, or programs like HPSP. Most big-money scholarships are hard to get and not always easy to retain.
