what is the average GPA to get into a nurse practitioner program. And also does anyone know if they take into consideration the format of grading in your RN program. ie. A weighted scale like 94% A, 91% B+, 84% B etc.

Im guessing no lower then the Average GPA for an MD/DO program, You have to know That GPA is calculated not on the specific profession itself but more on competition, the more apply the higher the GPA required. Theres also political forces at work limiting acceptances to all professional programs even thoe there is a shortage of primary medical professionals etc..Nurses/Doctors there is not a rush to build more schools or increase class sizes becuase if there a large influx of grads salaries would be driven down.
