Hey guys, I'm looking for some basic info about Pharm schools.

What is the average GPA of accepted students?

What is the average PCAT of accepted students?

What is the average PCAT of all test takers?

Thanks!

The AACP website gives the mean GPA, in a table that's much easier to follow than going through each school in PharmCAS.

I'm not too sure where to find the average PCAT stats though.

It's based on a percentile so.... 50.

No...

They give a test to a select set of individuals. These people will have a score range. When you take the test you are given a score and a %. The score is calculated by the number you got right out of the questions available. The % is a statistic stating that you did better than whatever the % is of the individuals who took the test. The revamp this % every so often to keep it relevant with the test.

You can read up more about how all this is calculated on the PCAT website.

our scores were based off of test takers from 2007-2011. i believe what conperk meant was percentile rank and if that is the case i'd say the average composite score is around a 50. only reason why people think its higher is because usually only people who do well are the ones who post their scores.
