I have read a few threads and stickies on the average salary for a full-time EM physician. I didn't find much information about the average starting salary for a new graduate near the city and/or suburb. I am sure it varies by the hours, but let's say 144 hrs per month (12 shifts x 12).

Do not pick a specialty on income. There are other threads that discuss income as well. Hell, there's one that even shows one doc's entire budget.
