Does anyone know if MSTP admission programs average your MCAT scores? Thanks!

No one knows?

AAMC reports the following mean numbers for 2006 MD-PhD matriculants: Science GPA 3.70: Non-Science GPA 3.76; Biology 11.7; Physical 11.5; and Verbal 10.7. Other threads in this forum have said that the average MCATs at "elite" MSTPs are 35 or 36.

Oh, I'm sorry. I meant that if you take the MCAT twice, do adcoms look at your highest score, your latest score, or do they just average the two together? Thanks.

Ooops! I guess this demonstrates why my verbal score was so low. The answer to your question is that practice varies among institutions. My institution looks at the highest score.
