Avg GPA during optometry school?

Just curious, but what is a good/average GPA to have during optometry school? How do most people do during their first semesters?

I would guess around a 3.0 at least, since that's a B and everyone in my class gets B's or higher unless they are struggling in a particular class. GPA doesn't really matter unless you specifically want to do a residency
