Avg. Stats for DO acceptance

To all DO applicants,

A friend of mine wants to apply to DO school for the class of 2008 and was wanting me to help her find out what the average stats are for accepted applicants. I know that every school is different but some normal stats would be greatly appreciated. I am actually entering dental school so I have no idea either so thanks a lot.

As of the May 2005 update:

COM Average Matriculant GPAs:
Overall- 3.45
Science- 3.36
Non-science- 3.54

COM Matriculant MCATs:
Verbal- 8.07
Physical- 7.99
Biological- 8.51

Obviously, some schools will have higher averages. You might want to check with the individual schools for their averages to determine a real comparison.
