Quick question
I know that school publish average GPA and MCAT scores but what do you think the averages of people being interviewed are. If my averages are at or above a school what does this say about my chances of interview.

And I'd say the MCAT averages on the site are still skewed upwards about a point and a half....

MDApplicants.com, like SDN, isn't a representative sample. I would say the averages on both are a bit higher than the actual averages. That said, both are still great resources to gauge your application.

Pocwana's data is very useful as well as the data put out by AAMC at http://www.aamc.org/data/facts/famg6d2002a.htm

I don't find the mdapplicants.com page very helpful because there is a self-selected sample and a small sample size.
