Hey every1 ..so for awards i put down just one and then i put down that i was on the deans list like 5 times. I wrote down each month and yr i was on it. Is it bad to list that 5 times?? Thanks

I did not put down deans or presidents list (I was on one or the other every semester) because it is on my transcript. I didn't have any awards... My thinking was that they were on my transcript and everyone else will have just about the same thing. Deans list is only a 3.5 semester right? Just my .02

i was in dean's list for 4 semesters. but they werent in row. So i put down 4 different ones for each semester. I would just put down the years if you know that they were all in consecutive manner. I dont think they show it on transcript though! atleast not on mine.

mine says "deans list" or "presidents list" under the semester heading...

well there is a limit of 5..so if you want to use em all up bc and dont have anything else to put then i guess put em in all individually, but u may run out of enteries even then rite

I was on dean's list each semester of undergrad, too, and I didn't want to take more than one slot on the application (I don't remember if my transcript said whether or not I was on the dean's list, but I figured that even if it did, they might gloss over it.) I wrote "Deans List awarded in 2003, 2004, 2005..." etc. etc. Most applicants will probably have been on it most, if not all, semesters so it's not a huge thing, but it deserves a line on the honors section.

I think it would look a bit odd to take up 4/5 lines for it, so I would recommend trying to find other honors you may have received. Could be anything...admitted to an honors chorus for your sexy baritone abilities, having your essay used as an example in some senior seminar, admission into various honors fraternities, etc.

I didn't even think those counted.
