I think there should be some sort of award, awesome feature, or special coloring around posted messages given to the consistent productive members.

The folks like OldPsychDoc, Doc Samson, Winged Scapula, LADoc00, BlueDog, and the many others scattered in different specialties.

We used to have a ratings/karma scale which you can enable as part of the VBulletin.

It became a popularity contest though; people would award points to their friends and ding others they didn't like or whom said something they didn't like. Needless to say staff members often got dinged by petty users who objected to staying within the TOS.🙄
