away electives

Hi all,

Hope interviews are going well. Is there anyone out there who wants to weigh in on good/bad places to do 4th year electives? I've heard good things about FCCC, MGH, Penn, and Duke -- does anyone have experience doing away rotations with any of these programs? Are there any programs that are not as "famous" but would still be good places to rotate through? Thanks for your help -- sorry if my questions are infuriatingly basic --

Bottom line is that besides the big names (MGH, MSKCC, etc.)...do rotations in departments that you're interested in doing a residency. That will/should at least get your foot into the door.
