away rotation applications

hey y'all

was wondering if it is difficult to get to do certain away rotations in certain institutions, i.e. other than scheduling issues, do they actually screen based on transcripts, board scores, etc?

get it done early like start calling after christmas...based on my experience this year getting fourth year rotations.
