Away rotation!!

So I was just online looking up information about the university I will be doing and away in GI at. Now I'am a little intimidated, it looks much more intense and "state of the art" than anywhere I have rotated. How should I prepare for GI? Any suggestions?

I guess this can apply to anyone doing aways in a medical specialty. What will the expectations be?

This doesn't address your question, but it seems like a lot of IM people do their aways in a subspecialty. Do you guys do any aways in straight up general IM? I'm going into EM and am doing away in regular EM.
