Below is a link from an article on Popular Science this morning. The author is a bit misleading in the beginning of the article but the last paragraph seals the deal for me. She says that the caries still need to be drilled out prior to the application of the peptide paste. It sounds like this peptide paste could be a potential replacement for amalgam and composite fillings. Very interesting read

Are you talking about stem cells found in wisdom teeth? Because I don't know if that's what they're referring to.

edit: seems like the article is confusing stem cells from the wisdom teeth with embryonic stem cells. Not that it will make a big difference in this case, apart from the controversy factor.
