i've had a very mild chronic hive problem for awhile now like 3 months, but very small specks occasionally in the wee hours of morning. no itchy.
so i woke up at 5:30am with angry dime sized hives on the inside of my arms, back of my knees and torso area, back of my shoulders.
apparently, unresolved ex-boyfriend issues and tests give me angry hives.
i think it's time that i practice some better coping mechanisms.

About six weeks after I started medical school, I started to notice a cycle in which my fingernails would start to pit. You could see when exams were coming up, or had just passed, based on where the pits were. Superawesome exam-mediated changes in physical health!

we're all on the edges of our seats waiting for you to tell us what happened with your boyfriend

I never had a hive problem at all until one test i took in undergrad where I got a B+ in the entire class by 1 question. As in, I knew as he was chanting out the letter answers that i could only get like 3 wrong of the last 4 or something, and as he chanted out 48 "A" 49 "C".. etc. I ended up getting the B+, but 10 mins later, my arms erupted in hives.. almost the entire length of my arm... Worth it tho lol 🙂 🙄 Good luck with your situation, but your not totally alone >.>

murfettie, I spent a year, a YEAR covered in hives - no relief except for chronic prednisone use.

I can give you more info on my experience, just PM me if you want.

Good luck.
