I was a research assistant for 2 years and managed to get awknowledged in multiple published research papers. Do you know where I put this? Should it be under the published papers section even though I'm not one of the authors. I had a pretty significant role in most of the papers, just not enough to get author.

There was similar thread about this before, but wasn't answered directly, so I'm asking again.

Thanks for any help.

If you're not an author, in general you should not list it as a publication. Although you might feel that you played a significant role, the lab seems to feel otherwise. You should list this as a work experience. You are welcome to list the pub references in the comment section.

if you're not listed as an author, then it's not considered *your* publication. since you were a research assistant, it definitely goes under work experience but clearly if you made a significant intellectual contribution to the work, they would have listed you as an author.
