Awkward Situation with schools Preprofessional Committee Chair

long story short I was waiting for the chair of my schools' preprofessional committee to submit her committee. I sent her the VMCAS request 8/30 and the status said Requested up until the last day for submission on VMCAS. As a back that week I asked letter writers to submit through VMCAS good thing I did. At 11:20pm I submitted still no committee letter. I emailed throughout the day and called her office a few times leaving voicemails each time.
anyway the next day I call VMCAS to see how/if this will affect me seeing that I had the required minimum of eLORs.
He gives me his recommendation and says that he actually spoke to one of my letter writers early today...the Chair of the preprofessional program.
I get an email from her saying she hit the wrong submit button...the same thing the rep told me has happened before to other letter writers...and says she needs to see me right away...
jumping ahead, she called all the schools and said she didnt hit submit and that its not my fault and sends them the committee...

Heres the kicker

I know she never even opened the request becuaus up until the night i submitted my application the status still said requested not accepted not complete...and my theory was confirmed when miss asked her for the eLORs evaluation which is done before they are able to submit. shes asking me if I had it.

Concerns:
shes lying to the schools and they'll know shes lying on my application
miss already mentioned this could affect my app
what kind of letter did she send if it was done last minute
shes doent think i know shes lyig to keeps saying how frustrating this all is and complaining about all the extra work

this is crazy right?
I need some adive on how to address this...please.

Wait so did she submit a letter via vmcas or not? From my impression schools only view letters within vmcas. As for the lying issue I guess it depends what type of relationship or not as well if there is a supervisor above her. If shes the chair of a preprofessional letter committee the lack of performance is upsetting and should be addressed in a professional manner.

She did not submit through VMCAS.
She called and emailed the LOR packet to the schools I applied too.
I agree, she is representing the school very poorly. I graduate this year and was gonna confront the dean of the department over the matter. Until then I didn't want to rock the boat seeing how schools might contact her

Im just worried how/if this is impacting my overall application bringing negative attention to it

As long as you have the required number of LORs submitted through VMCAS for the schools you’re applying to, it may not be a problem at all. A lot of schools don’t like committee letters anyway. I ended up using it as an extra letter for the stuck up schools that like this sort of stuff.
