The problem whoever gave you that assignment was that not all manufacturers give an AWP due to their criminal (as in got a bunch of people in marketing at several PhRMA companies fired and SEC blacklisted) conviction for fraudulent entry manipulation in the past. As you can see Astellas has been on the federal list for over a decade.

Whoever gave you that assignment sent you on a snipe hunt. Sigh, I hope you aren't a pharmacy student as that aspect of product economics should have been covered in the antitrust section. You should report the Medicaid cost with the screw you note.

Short note, that's the Medicaid acquisition cost (which is what IMS and Truven report as that's effectively AWP in this case), not AWP. If you are actually trying to get it right, you'll need to include that other issue.
And there are 2 different AWP's but you aren't supposed to talk about that. And there are hundreds of different MAC pricing lists but you aren't supposed to talk about that either.

Thanks, but this cost seems to be lower than what I was expecting. From what I have found on my own I was coming across prices of ~6k per vial. Why such a discrepancy?
Refer to Zelman and chalupa's answer. You were sent on a wild goose chase as no one actually pays that amount.
