How close are the ties between these schools? There secondaries are almost exactly alike. Has anyone been accepted or interviewed by one and rejected by the other? Do they act as separate entities?
They are totally separate. Except from seeing a little blurb about eachother in our common newspaper, there is little else that is shared. Some of CCOM's faculty went down to seed AZCOM a few years ago, but it is not like there are faculty flying up and down and teaching at both campuses. The curriculae are different also.
They're both under the umbrella of Midwestern University. CCOM has been around a lot longer, though. So it's got alot of history (I think it was the 2nd or 3rd DO school right after KCOM). AZCOM is pretty new (just a couple years old).
