LETTER SENT TO STUDENTS OF AZCOM STATES

It is with extreme pleasure that I announce the results of the COMLEX Level
2 National Boards taken by AZCOM students Jan 14-15, 2003. All students
(100%) who took the exam successfully passed. This is simply phenomenal!
Six of the eight times AZCOM students have been eligible to take the exam
they have passed with a rate of 100%. No other college of osteopathic
medicine has this success rate.

woop-de-ding-

A good percentage of people who take COMLEX 2 in January (the second offering) were also people who failed it in August when you can first take it. You also have people who did not take it in August becasue they scored very well on the COMLEX I, and did not want to risk getting a lower score on the August Step 2, in case this might influence residency placement.

So you get better students (scenario 2) as well as people who are more motivated and have experienced Step 2 earlier (scenario 1).

To the surfin' dude of NSU above...
For your info the entire class of AZCOM takes the january sitting except for the military grads...Think whatever you want...AZCOM is proud of all their grads, and it looks like they all pass again...

There are non-military AZCOM students who took the COMLEX last August. I'm still damn proud of the whole class!

Cool?for AZCOM?.now, for those of us who attend the less enlightened DO schools?could you tell us about any special preparation or approaches that your school uses which maybe helpful to us?.thanks?
