Hi, i noticed that some of you have already been informed of your acceptance at AZCOM through the phone. Just wondering if anyone has recieved the actual hardcopy of the acceptance letter through snail mail. If so, how long did you have to wait between the phone call and the letter. Thanks

The lady from admissions made is seems like we would be recieving that letter in the mail any day. Still waiting. Is that your top choice school?? It's my #1 so i'm really happy to have an acceptance already!

Yes, this is my #1 choice. I'm waitin for the letter so that i can put in my deposit for a spot.

GUYS! Yay! AZCOM is my #1 choice too. I got the call...umm...last Monday I think? Still waiting on the hard copy though too. We need to start a thread 🙂

crys20 & lady tokimi, where are you from?? I'm a 20 yr old Bio Major at UCONN from Connecticut...long move for me out to Arizona 🙂 It's realy great that we are already in. I know sooo many people that are waiting to hear this week about their MCAT and still have the long road ahead of them

21 y/o bio major from Ohio State

24yrs old from colorado. Yeah, not sure when the hard copy is suppose to get here. When i spoke to them, they told me that they were sendin the acceptance letter out friday....so i'm assumin that we'll be gettin it sometime this week.

Are you guys plannin on livin on campus or off campus? When i was there, they only got to show us one of the studio rooms on campus, so i'm not sure how the other rooms are. I suppose i wouldn't mind livin on campus.

I really would like to live on campus, but not in the studio...Too small! I think it would be great for making friends 1st year and ultra conveinent plus they seemed very new looking, nice and safe.

I was thinking of getting a one bedroom for myself, maybe the one bedroom with den. If I got in contact w/ someone looking for a roommate I would loveto do that w/ the luxury 2 bedroom (i hear that's the way to go w/ the 2 bedrooms), too so if any of you girls are interested let me know! With a roommate too it would also be cool to get a 2 BR at one of the "luxury" complexes across the street...I remember seeing Arrowhead Highlands and it looked sooo cool. 🙂

I assumed that I would be living in the on campus apartments, but i'm not thrilled about living in a studio. I havent looked into the surrounding area at all but I was told its pricey. In a perfect world, i want to find someone cool to share a 2 bedroom, preferably on campus. I had an apartment by myself last year and I would rather have a roommate, as I have a 2 bedroom this year.
Crys20 we can definately talk about getting an apartment if u are interested.

I just wanted to congratulate all of you on your acceptance and I hope to see all of you here next year! Earlier this year I sent in a housing app, but they didn't have anything left aside from the standard two bedroom appartments. So make sure you send in your app really early. It all worked out since I got in touch with a guy who interviewed with me last year and now we share a house just across the 101 from the on campus housing. Congrats again and make sure to PM me if you have any questions regarding Midwestern or AZCOM, although I am only a lowly MS1. Now it's time to get back to that histology.....

Thanks Matt! 🙂

Sarah, I'll PM you!

yeah, wouldn't mind lookin for a roommate either. I think that 2 bedroom lux is probably the best way to go with a roommate. Well, PM me if Sarah hasn't already agreed 🙁.

Hey guys,

I'm a 21-year-old male from Washington State. I was recently accepted to AZCOM and am strongly considering going there if not accepted to my state MD school (University of Washington). I had a great interview day and really fell in love with the school. I just interviewed at CCOM, and I would much rather go to AZCOM I think.

It may end up coming down to AZCOM vs. a few allopathic schools, such as Rosalind Franklin, where I interviewed yesterday and had another great experience.

Just thought I'd say hi. Good luck next year; maybe we'll be classmates!

hey kiddo you need to tell me how RF was! 🙂
